A Luxury Lodge safari that fly's from Maun to Eagle Island, Khwai River and Duba Expedition camps before ending back at Maun.
Day 1 to 3: Eagle Island - Okavango
Fly from Maun to Eagle Island
Africa’s water-focused safari has a new look and feel, allowing you to discover a unique and dramatic ecosystem in total luxury. Nestled in Botswana’s lush Okavango Delta, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s largest inland water systems.
Each of the lodge’s spacious Deluxe Tented Rooms boasts its own plunge pool. A private deck provides the perfect space to soak up the scenery.
Flooded with daylight, the interior décor is elegant and light. The centrepiece of every tented room is an oversized bed with views of the delta. The uniquely designed, handmade copper-finish headboards reference Botswana’s mining tradition.
In-room amenities include a deep day bed, large desk, fully-stocked mini bar and discreet air conditioning. An en-suite bathroom features a walled outdoor shower with a window looking onto the delta, a large indoor bathtub and walk-in wardrobe.
Be it in the open-air or within our covered dining areas, the lodge offers a dining experience to remember. In the heart of the Botswana safari experience, surrounded by wildlife, enjoy delicious cuisine created by skilled chefs.
Game drives often start early. You will be woken and presented with coffee, enjoying a light breakfast in the restaurant before setting off. The team will also be glad to prepare picnics for you to take along.
After dinner, enjoy the bar and lounge areas. Seated around the campfire you can share stories with fellow travellers or simply curl up and relax while the wildlife does the same.
- Eagle Island Camp (Fully inclusive)
Day 4 to 6: Khwai River - Moremi
Fly from Eagle Island to Khwai
Sink into time-honoured indulgence as you overlook the vibrant floodplains and dramatic big game of the Moremi Wildlife Reserve. Khwai River Lodge is home to luxury rooms seated on raised wooden platforms with traditional African thatch roof. Private decks with easy chairs and hammocks provide panoramic views. Inside you’ll find a netted four-poster bed, an elegant bathroom, a stocked mini bar and discreet air conditioning. Tucked away from the main rooms, the private suite offers a more secluded, romantic experience. The large deck includes a heated splash pool with full views of the reserve. An open-air bathroom, complete with double showers and copper-framed Victorian bath, brings you closer to nature.
- Khwai River Lodge (Fully Inclusive)
Day 7 to 9: Duba - Okavango
Fly from Khwai to Duba
The brand new Duba Expedition Camp sits in the heart of classic Okavango Delta habitat. A matrix of palm-dotted islands, flood plains and woodland, the 77,000-acre private concession typifies the region’s unique landscape. Located here, exclusively, is the six tent Duba Expedition Camp, a wildlife connoisseur’s getaway. Built on a wooded island, connected to the prolific wildlife area by an elaborate set of bridges, the area is the base of many famous wildlife documentaries by National Geographic filmmakers Dereck and Beverly Joubert. It is the only camp on the concession, thereby offering guests the ultimate opportunity for private sightings.
The intimate camp consists of six expedition-style tents of light airy canvas on slightly raised decking, each with views of the surrounding floodplain. Each tent has a small desk and private verandah plus en-suite facilities consisting of flush loo, double basins and indoor shower.
- Duba Expedition Camp (fully inclusive)
