SALTPANS TO WETLANDS - 6 Nights

Enthralling and exciting... San Bushmen and wild dog hunts. Suricates and sable. Spotted and brown hyaena. Baobabs and baboons. Space and exploration. Elephants and elegance. Salt pans and the wetlands. In the Makgadikgadi the vast salt pans shimmer in the heat and an oryx breaks through the haze. MEERKATS scuttle for insects and scorpions while QUAD BIKE expeditions disappear over the earth’s curved horizon. BUSHMEN share their ancient survival techniques and expert guides uncover ancient hominid hand-tools and artefacts and reveal the den sites of some of the rarest and most elusive wildlife such as BROWN HYAENA, bat-eared fox and aardwolf. At Duke's, enjoy day and night game drives, CANOEING, boating, FISHING, island sleep-outs and wine tastings surrounded by thousands of ELEPHANTS, packs of wild dog and grunting HIPPO.
